BIOGRAPHY

Born in New Orleans and raised in Austin, Barbara knows what it means to value where you live and to love your community. She was part of the first graduating class at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Upper School in Austin and became the first student to return to the Upper School to teach English after her college years spent in the Northeast. Her love of teaching drew her to a Masters Degree in Communication Studies at the University of Texas at Austin where she developed an academic coaching business that served dozens of families in the Central and West Austin area. Helping families navigate the challenges of adolescence came naturally to her as she is not only a perceptive listener, but she also intuitively understands others’ needs while they move through life’s big transitions.

Once she married a local custom home builder, helping clients design and build their dream home alongside her husband became a passion, and one not unlike her academic coaching career. She is thrilled to be able to now marry both her family coaching background with her love of real estate as an agent in the central Austin core. She knows that a good real estate agent can anticipate clients’ needs and offer thoughtful support to deliver above and beyond each client’s expectations.

She resides in Central Austin in the highly desirable Allandale neighborhood with her husband Dominique and sons Reńe and Jules. You can find her on the hike and bike trail, the yoga studio or having a dance party at home with her son and two dogs. Barbara is also a visual artist who enjoys creating abstract pieces for her clients, family and friends.
