BIOGRAPHY
As a native Texan, Rachel Nasir Scott is proud of her heritage. Growing up in Victoria, she attended Victoria College and came to Houston in 1980 to attend the prestigious Art Institute of Houston for a career in Interior Design. Upon completion, she moved to Dallas where she worked with several different financial institutions as a broker assistant and financial operations clerk. Returning to Houston in 1990, Rachel worked in the interior design industry and finance for several years while also raising a family. Now, as both a REALTOR® and interior design professional, Rachel offers clients an array of valuable skills, one of the more significant being her great talent at “home staging.”
“I have a good sense of style, and I’m able to incorporate that, as well as my real estate skills, into a total package for my clients,” says Rachel. “Understanding what a client wants is crucial, and I work extremely hard to achieve their true desires and dreams.”
With strong organizational and artistic skills, Rachel definitely has the ability to show the strengths and can visualize the potential in most houses. “Ultimately, a house is not a home until the client’s heart has moved in,” she says. Rachel earned her Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) designation and also the GRI certification, which differentiates her even more by defining her strategic marketing skills. “I wanted to learn all that I can to help my clients with their process of buying or selling a home”.

LIFE BEYOND REAL ESTATE
Rachel and her husband are now living in the Lake Conroe area. Being in the heart of the rest and relaxation area of Texas, she loves every minute of it! She has three grown children, one grandchild and two dogs and a cat. When she’s not working, she gardens, bird watches, plays tennis, takes golf lessons or is on the lake in their boat, kayak or jet ski. She is a member of the Grand Harbor Women’s Association, Walden Tennis Center and Walden Golf Club, Rachel looks forward to many years on the lake and to serve the community with her real estate expertise. “I’m loving my career and my clients see that enthusiasm. They appreciate my professionalism and my ability to focus on the end result,” says Rachel, who always has a smile on her face.
